She grew up as the middle of seven children and adores her big family. She is a student, tutor, and nanny; a lover of trees, letters, sheet music, Anne-with-an-E, clementines, drivers who actually use their blinkers, Southern summer nights, G.K. Chesterton, and all things yellow.

She has wanted to be a writer since the day she found out that stories were written, not born, and that’s not likely to change. In between classes (and sometime during), she makes stories, poetry, music, puns, paintings, and the occasional Archimedean solid.
